A staggering 23 million girls drop out of school each year when they start menstruating, primarily because they lack access to basic menstrual hygiene products. In Bihar, one of the most impoverished states, only 29% of women of rural area use hygienic menstrual protection, leaving many vulnerable to health risks and dropping out of education.

We have distributed pads in over 200+ schools and gram panchayat and educated more than 25,000 school girls and rural womens. Currently we are active in Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Vaishali, Patna, Chhapra, East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Seohar, Darbhanga and Madhubani districts of Bihar. GiveForSociety Foundation with the support of many other supporters is on a social mission of empowering these underprivileged school girls, College girls and rural women by educating them about the significance of maintaining menstrual hygiene, personal hygiene, health and distributing Free Sanitary Pads to them under LIFE SKILL, HEALTH AND HYGIENE PROGRAM.
